Your help matters!

Our Mission here at The Warm Milk Journal is:

To live a well balanced, rewarding life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night.

Since I started this site a little over two years ago, I have heard from so many of you who have benefited from your visit here.

Whether you come for the insomnia tips, journal writing tips, or prayers… I hope you find here at The Warm Milk Journal a place of support and comfort.

Anxiety and insomnia are prevalent in today’s high tech, fast paced society. It is important that we slow down a bit and take care of ourselves.

As a classroom teacher, I can help 40 students a day. With The Warm Milk Journal, I can reach hundreds and thousands of people a day. You can support this platform to serve the world to help people get a better night sleep and find balance and peace in their lives.

How can you help?

1. Pay it forward! If you read or discover something you like here, please share it with others on your own website, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn, Reddit, Digg, etc.

2. Comment on posts or email me with feedback on what you like and what you would like to see more of.

Why Read The Warm Milk Journal?

What is the Warm Milk Journal about? I started this site last February with the idea that this would be a place for people to feel supported and comforted at night when they were having a hard time sleeping. The more I have worked on this project, however, the more I realize that The Warm Milk Journal is much more than a blog about insomnia.

Yes, there are things we can do to help our sleep at night. I also think that there is a connection between how fulfilling our days are and how well we are sleeping at night.

So what can you expect to find here at The Warm Milk Journal?

  3. Journal writing ideas
  4. Poems, quotes, prayers, and inspirational stories.
  5. Any ideas that encourage self-empowerment

When you think of warm milk, you probably think of something nourishing, nurturing, and comforting. When we were new babies it was our mother’s milk that was our main source of nourishment. I want The Warm Milk Journal to be a source of comfort for you, dear reader. Visit if you need support, encouragement, a good cry, a smile, or a laugh. I want you to know that you are not alone in this world. We all really are connected. We are here for each other.
