Morning Freshness: A brief morning verse to start the day

Morning freshness

morning light

Thank you for arriving just on time.

I am ready to gently face the day

with energy and open spirit.

I am confident and willing

to bend when necessary.

As I stretch my body and meditate

I feel thankful for all that is here

in my world.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

An end of the day quiet reflection

Some questions for the end of the day:

  1. What did you do just for fun today?
  2. What did you learn?
  3. What made you smile?
  4. What made you think?
  5. What do you feel thankful for?
  6. What and who supported you?
  7. Who did you help today?

If you have any worries or concerns from the day, write them down on a piece of paper or in your journal. You can now release these worries. They will most likely pass. If they persist, spend time with your journal, in meditation, or prayer. Answers, in time, will surface if you are centered.

In peace,

Debra : )

The Wonderful Mysteries of Life: I wonder…. ten questions to ponder

Our two main goals we have here at the Warm Milk Journal are to live a well-balanced life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night. To that end, here are ten questions to ponder during a quiet time with or without your journal:

  1. What would happen if I just took a day and did nothing?
  2. Why do we rush around so much?
  3. What would I like to try?
  4. Where would I like to visit?
  5. Who would I like to have over for dinner?
  6. When do I look and feel my best?
  7. Does a good night of sleep give me a great day or does a great day give me a good night of sleep?
  8. How are there so many variations of every kind of species imaginable?
  9. What is something I would miss if I never saw it/him/her again?
  10. What is something I could live without and would never miss?
