For help falling asleep fast, try these soothing foods:
1. Turkey, which contains tryptophan, an amino acid that converts to sleep promoting serotonin.
2. Warm Milk. Also contains tryptophan and calcium and magnesium which enhance the conversion of tryptophan to serotonin.
3. Macaroni and Cheese. Comfort foods like mac and cheese provide psychological reasons that will comfort us. Foods like this we associate with early childhood and being take care of.
I am so excited! I found ear plugs that work (if you are a woman, that is). If your man snores it can be the cause of a lot of stress in your relationship. We all need our sleep. My sweetie is willing to sleep on the couch but I like him around, so I have been searching for ear plugs that work. I have tried wax ones and soft foams ones which come in all kinds of different brands, shapes, and sizes. The ones I were using were Mack’s. They work just fine but if I use them a lot I find that my ears feel a little sore and itchy.
Well, when I was shopping for my groceries a couple of nights ago I just stumbled on Mack’s newest product offering: Mack’s Dreamgirl Soft Foam Earplugs. They are like their original earplugs but they are pink and smaller. They fit just right and do not irritate my ears at all.
