meditation for sleep and peace

Simple meditation: “I Am Enough”!

Life can get kind of overwhelming and crazy at times. Even when we think we are centered and balanced, it can catch up with us at times and knock us off balance.  When this happens it is sometimes helpful to just turn it over to a higher power, God, the divine, the universe (whatever has meaning for you spiritually). Letting things go (especially things that we have no control over) is sometimes the right action to take. Know that we are doing our best. That is really all we, God, and life can expect from us.

If the stress in your life is getting to you and affecting your peace of mind, simply tell yourself “I am enough”. If it is bedtime this is something you can silently tell yourself as you are getting ready to go to sleep.

Breathe. Think “I am enough”. Breathe again. Think “I am enough”. Breathe……

Repeat until you fall asleep.
