Ask questions, write them down, then just listen… a journal writing exercise.

The universe does not like a void. Ask questions and answers will come. For tonight’s journal writing session, simply write down some questions you have. Then close your journal and breathe. Meditate. It is nice to do this exercise right before sleep.

If I were to do this exercise right now, these are a few questions I would write down in my journal:

1. How can I best use my time and energy this summer?

2. What should I focus on first?

3. What is most important?

4. Who am I?

When your children are demanding your attention,

When you are given a compliment,

When you hear music on the radio or in your mind,

listen.

When you hear laughter,

listen.

When your cat purrs at your side or on your lap,

listen.

Life is happening all around you.

listen.

Breathe deeply.

listen.

Just Listen.
