To live a well balanced, rewarding life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night.
As the day winds down and I ease into the evening, I know that these thoughts will help me sleep well tonight:
1. I Am whole
2. I Am peace.
3. I Am thankful for my health, home, and family
4. I Am love
5. Anything that causes me stress, anger, resentment, jealousy…etc…is a passing, temporary condition. My permanent status is one of love, peace, grace, and wholeness (as stated above).
I am quite confident that I will sleep well tonight. I wish the same for you!
In peace,
Debra
If I’ve had too much…(demands from others)
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I’ve been too hard on myself lately…
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I’ve lost sleep over worrying about stuff (job stress, other people’s opinions or expectations…)
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I start thinking back, and regretting decisions I made…
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I’m impatient and loading up stress (on myself and others)…
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I find myself racing around and stuck in the grind (of daily life)…
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I start feeling sorry for myself (due to a small paycheck or a body that doesn’t want to shed the weight)…
What do I do?
I let it go!
If I start feeling upset with my husband over something really small…
What do I do?
I let it go!
Let it go, oh yes, I let it all go!
Wishing you all a peaceful night,
Debra
Forgiveness, The Mew Way is simply this:
1. If our tail gets stepped on, we squawk for a second and then immediately let it go (no lasting grudges or resentments need apply).
2. Look through the lens of unconditional love, always. The loved one who accidentally pushed me off the couch still loves me. No hurt intended.
3. Do not take anything personally. There are times when people want their newspapers without 20 pounds of black fur ball on them.
4. Do not get upset in the first place.
Thank you, Mew. That truly is it, isn’t it?
It is worth repeating:
Do not get upset in the first place.
Thank you, Dear friend, for your perpetual and universal wisdom. No wonder you are loved by people all around the world.
In peace,
Debra and Mew
Yesterday’s post offered up 17 things that we can let go of to enjoy a greater night of sleep (along with much peace of mind).
Today as I am waking up and preparing to begin my day, I am asking myself a few questions and I think they would make wonderful prompts for our journal writing today.
Get out your journals, get that cup of tea or coffee, here goes….
1. What am I holding onto in my life that is worth holding onto?
2. What am I holding onto that is no longer serving me well?
3. In what areas of my life am I good about being relaxed and flexible about?
4. In what areas of my life am I rather stubborn and rigid?
5. If I was told by my doctor today that I only had a few months left to live, what would I change?
6. What do I want more of in my life?
7. What do I know deep down, that I just need to once and for all- let go of?
A blessed day to you,
Debra
Things to let go before we retire tonight:
