Doubting yourself in a high pressure world?

You doubt yourself,

it’s easy to do.

Second guessing can become second nature…

For if things are not as we like, who are we to blame?

Looking in the mirror is all too easy.

Operating in a high pressure world,

Do you ever want to scream?

There is another way…

a better way (I do so believe).

And that is simply to just be.

Judgement and critcism from self (and others if that may be the case) can

be put to rest.

You don’t have to be the best according to any set standards out there…

For you already are the best

just as you are.

Getting the busy-ness out of the business of living a well balanced life during the holidays

It’s the time of year when we can all get stessed with our busy to do lists. The holidays don’t have to be stressful. Here are some ideas to destress and get some busy-ness

out of the business of living a well balanced life this holiday season.

  1. Less is more. Clutter stresses our physical environment and emotional lives. Do we really need all the stuff? Get rid of things that no longer delight you. Perhaps you can make agreements with people in your life to give money to charity instead of buying each other presents this year.
  2. Permit yourself to just be. Get off the treadmill. Ahhh…that feels nice.
  3. Meditate.
  4. Take a walk and enjoy the outside air.
  5. Have a holiday party if that is something you enjoy. Skip it if you are doing it out of a sense of obligation. Life’s too short. Stressing yourself does not put out good energy for yourself or anyone else. Remind yourself of what the holidays are really supposed to be about: God’s love, the love of your family and friends, being thankful, etc.

I am stopping here for this post is going to be simple. A long list of ideas would be too busy.
