Focusing on our power with the help of the moon: a meditation and journal writing exercise

Confidence.

Take no prisoner attitude-

You are enough. Believe it. Own it.

I truly believe that believing in ourselves and loving ourselves is the best cure and medicine for anxiety.

Tonight, I invite you during your meditation and journal writing time to focus on your strengths and your power.

Close your eyes and get silent. Breathe. It is a full moon time so harness that energy. Think of the moon light shining on you. Breathe.

Be in that special space for as long as you wish. Don’t think. Empty your cup and bask in that wondrous moonlight.

When you are ready to, open your eyes.

Here are a few journal prompts for your journal writing…

1. What are your strengths?

2. What makes you feel strong?

3. When people compliment you what do they compliment you about?

4. What thoughts put spring in your step?

5. Are there any times when you feel like you are giving your power away? (to circumstance or other people for instance)?

A blessed evening to you,

Debra

What am I holding onto? Seven journal writing prompts

Yesterday’s post offered up 17 things that we can let go of to enjoy a greater night of sleep (along with much peace of mind).

Today as I am waking up and preparing to begin my day, I am asking myself a few questions and I think they would make wonderful prompts for our journal writing today.

Get out your journals, get that cup of tea or coffee, here goes….

1. What am I holding onto in my life that is worth holding onto?

2. What am I holding onto that is no longer serving me well?

3. In what areas of my life am I good about being relaxed and flexible about?

4. In what areas of my life am I rather stubborn and rigid?

5. If I was told by my doctor today that I only had a few months left to live, what would I change?

6. What do I want more of in my life?

7. What do I know deep down, that I just need to once and for all- let go of?

A blessed day to you,

Debra

What are you making time for in your life? A journal writing exercise

Time is a relative thing. For many of us, there never seems to be enough of it, does there? We live in a society of go go go and busy-ness. Days and weeks and months go by in a flash.

Are you happy with how you are spending your days? I think if we all focused on what is really most important and did those things first, we would feel better about the amount of time we have. If we are not (which may be many of us), then we may feel frustrated stressed that there never seems to be enough time.

Here’s a few questions for your journal writing time:

     1. Describe an ideal day for yourself. How would you spend the day? What would you do? Who would you see? How do you feel?

     2. If you only had six months left to live what changes would you make in your life?

     3. What are some activities and obligations that you could take off your plate?

     4. What do you want to say yes to?

     5. Are you willing to say no to other things?

This is your life. YOUR TIME..  How will spend it?

Have a blessed day,

Debra : )
