Here at the Warm Milk Journal we are interested in finding out what kind of mattresses are best for a good night sleep. My brother Scott bought a foam mattress recently. Here is his experience…
Over the last year my back has been getting increasingly irritated. I have not had a lot of discomfort, but enough that I would have my buddys ‘crack my back’… After the discomfort progressed beyond an ‘occasional’ back crack, I learned how to do it myself and started doing it several times per day. I started to worry and ask questions. Am I just getting old? Well, at 41, I’m no spring chicken but feeling like 80 was not my idea of being 41…
I did some research on how often you should replace your mattress, and gulp, I learned that mine was WAY over –due. It was about 14 years old and after further analysis, I noticed it was really sagging. So my back was convex for hours at a time due to the lack of support from the worn-out mattress… I picked up a new mattress, a foam based mattress (not a Tempurepedic because I think you are paying 2x for the name) and my back pain has simply gone away. I even sleep better, often times sleeping all the way through the night..
Back sore? Time for a new and good mattress? Splurge a little here… if you get 8 hours a night, you spend 1/3 of your life on your mattress…
Good ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz’s to you…..
Scott
