choose to do list

Creating a “choose to do” list.

Here’s an exercise to try:

In your journal or on a notepad write: “need to do”.

Then create a list of a few things that you feel you need to do.

Next. Create another list of tasks under the heading “choose to do”.

Did you experience anything different while creating these two lists?

Our need to do lists inspire: what? “Gosh, I do need to do this, but I really…don’t want… procrastination.

Our choose to do lists inspire: stand a bit taller and walk a bit more confidently for “look at all the great things I feel empowered to do!”

Big difference, huh?

Why don’t tonight we decide to replace all the countless to do lists with a “choose to do list” instead?

Let’s see, this sounds like a lot of fun!

I choose to:

1. Learn all I can about blogging and socia media to reach out and help as many people as I can here at The Warm Milk Journal.

2. Stay home with my daughter who is sick with the flu this weekend (and needs me) rather than go on our long-planned trip to visit my brother in Decatur, GA this weekend.

3. Accept the little quirks about my husband and love him!

4. Do the household chores so that we have a clean, nice home to live in.

You get the idea…

what do you choose to do?

In peace,

Debra
