affirmation

Five things I say “yes!” to today- an affirmative journal writing exercise

I say “yes”! to

1. forgiving myself for not being “perfect” (whatever perfect means)

2. promoting myself and others

3. getting out of my comfort zone to grow and do the things I really want to do in my life (rather than just talk about doing them).

4. drinking coffee, reading the paper, blogging, and Twittering all morning long in bed with hubby and cats.

5. being kind

What do you say yes to today? Write it down. Own it. Affirm yourself and this incredible life.

Have a blessed day,

Debra

Light, loving and playful energy for the work day: a morning verse and intention

Morning freshness

morning light

Thank you for this brand new day.

I will play at making this day a blessing

by finding the lightness in all things and people.

I will seek the love and joy that is sometimes hidden behind

dark and heavy moods and tasks.

Oh, to release the fun energy in the middle of the workday-

now that is an accomplishment worthy

of my intention.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you

for this new day of life.

I will create a new beginning starting now.

A short prayer for bedtime

Sleep is close at hand.

I am thankful for the day but now

it’s time to rest.

I Am peace.

I Am love.

I Am spirit.

I heal and become anew in sleep.

Thank you.

Amen
