To live a well balanced, rewarding life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night.
Sweet new beginnings may include:
1. A new way of looking at a situation
2. A new way of interacting with a loved one
3. A new job
4. A new house
5. A new baby
6. A new attitude
New beginnings can be the start of radical change or simply
a little tweaking of what was and making it something more authentic for you NOW…
New beginnings… limitless….
and yours!
HAPPY NEW YEARS!
If I continue to learn new things,
smile more than frown…
If I look for the magic that is everywhere this time of year…
Perhaps I can experience Christmas and every day of the year with the same wonder I had as a young child…
Just perhaps!
I am free!
I am free of:
rule books,
self help books,
other people’s opinions of me,
grades and evaluations….
I am free to just be me, and that is the
greatest peace of all!
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
~Seymour Miller & Jill Jackson, “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” 1955
Twinkly eyes and
bright eyes..
Body stretching, waking up-
a mind full of possibilities with
a new day ahead.
Thank you for a great night of sleep.
Thank you for this new day.
Every day of life is a gift.
Thank you
Thank you
Thank you
For your journal writing tonight I offer you a few prompts to get your writing juices flowing:
1. What was the most vivid dream that you can remember having?
2. What does peace feel like?
3. List three things that you can take OFF your to-do list right now?
4. Who or what makes you smile?….. ; )
5. What are you really good at?
Have fun!
In peace,
Debra
Evening,
you are here once more.
Thank you for your arrival.
In times of stress, you comfort me with your dark and silence.
In times of celebration you delight me with your lights and time with loved ones.
Evening, thank you for being there. Without you I would not have this space of rest from my hectic work life and I
would not have this time to recharge.
When day is done, and clouds are low, And flowers are honey-dew, And Hesper’s lamp begins to glow Along the western blue; And homeward wing the turtle-doves, Then comes the hour the poet loves. ~ George Croly
What will you do with this gift? This evening?
A blessed night to all,
Debra
Warm and soothing
Acceptance and unconditional love
Reassurance when you need a boost
Mother’s love in a cup
Mellow and creamy
In good times and sad….
Love always all the time
Kindness and simplicity
ENJOY!
Fall abundance
plentiful blessings…
If I choose to see the bounty all around me
I will see how rich my life is.
Fall abundance
Your harvest offers beauty, nourishment, and joy.
Thank you Dear Season of change, color, cooler temperatures, and abundance!
Your fortune is not something to find but to unfold.
~Eric Butterworth
This evening’s journal writing session is about fortune: the idea of finding, having, or discovering our fortune and also what makes us feel fortunate.
I encourage you to sit in a quiet place and meditate for a few minutes before writing. Visualize what “fortune” means to you. What does being fortunate mean to you?
When you are ready to, open your eyes and write down anything that comes to mind. Do not censor yourself. Just write.
Enjoy this exercise. You may find it interesting what comes out…
In peace,
Debra
