Good evening!

It's Debra here and I invite you to get out your journal and write at the top of the entry:

What is my truth?

Then write. Don't self-edit. Just let whatever comes out, out. That's it.

You may be asking: "What is the connection of this exercise to a good night sleep, Debra"?

My answer is this: The more we give ourselves permission to just be ourselves and cultivate a greater awareness of what makes us happy and gives us peace... this is the stuff of the life of our dreams by day and a restful night at night (that is only our mission here at The Warm Milk Journal).

So, let's give this a go, shall we?

If I were to answer this question in my private journal, it would be something like this...


What is my truth?

My truth is this:

I like and need time to be outdoors, creative, and alone. When I do this on a daily basis, I have more to give to my family, job, and community.

I really appreciate the freedom I enjoy and I know that I will not live forever. Therefore, I dedicate myself to: inspiring others with my words, enjoying adventures with my husband, and drinking good wine.
