When things appear cloudy and muddy… this morning’s short prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for every time I am given an opportunity to start fresh all over again.

This morning is one of those times.

To make sure I make the most of this new day, I ask that you please guide me to:

realize that not everything will go according to my plans.

Please help me to be reminded of all the good work I do during the day and to focus in

on what is important.

When things appear cloudy and muddy,

please help me see them more clearly.

When I am feeling sorry for myself,

may I cancel the pity party and instead celebrate all

of the abundance around me.

I am thankful for this day.

I am thankful for my life.

Thank you for loving and supporting me.

Amen

Life works with me.
