Thank you for Helping me Build my Courage…this morning’s prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for this day. I feel blessed to sit comfortably in my cozy home, surrounded by those I love…

On this day, please help me to see:

the good in people’s hearts and actions,

the natural beauty right in my own backyard.

Please help me to hear

my daughter’s voice when she needs me to really listen to her,

and help me to continue the good work that I have begun even though

I doubt myself from time to time.

Thank you for helping me to grow.

Thank you for helping me to learn.

Thank you for helping me build my courage,

and to find and use my voice that has always been there…

This is a wonderful time in my life and I am blessed!
