Ten things I Am thankful for right NOW: A gratitude journal entry for this morning

What we appreciate appreciates.

What we focus on grows

What we think about and feel thankful for NOW we will attract more of it into our lives…

What are you thankful for, right now, this morning?

Get out your journal and write a list….

When the stress of the day gets to you think about this list you wrote this morning. Smile at the thought of it.

Savor all of your blessings.

Let’s see, my entry in my gratitude journal this morning looks like this:

I Am thankful for:

1. my cup of coffee
2. My health
3. My job
4. My husband
5. My daughter being happy with her new classes and teachers this school year
6. My car that takes me to work safely and comfortably
7. The time over this Labor Day weekend I had to work on my book
8. Writing and language: I just love it!
9. All my friends
10. My parents who have always been very good to me and are still enjoying life!

Your turn, friends….

Have a blessed day!

Debra

as long as i can remember i have journaled my life in spiral notebooks, blank books, etc. They are too numerous to mention, too many to count….need to just take a day to go through the many boxes put away for another day to read over what others may read someday when i am gone. why do i have this obsessive desire to write anything, make lists, fill the page…write, write, write. i think i was born with a pen in my hand and words in my head. i have a bump on the middle finger of my right (write) hand. the result of my obsession with pens and writing from my school days. i am a voracious reader, thankful for e-readers now that i have limited space for books on my overcrowded shelves. i am always looking for the next book on journaling that tells me new ways of doing it better and doing it different. I have been writing Julia Camerons version of morning pages for years, love the artist dates, still trying to fit in morning walks. i came across your blog and it fits me like a glove that i dont want to take off. keep your blog coming. it seems to satisfy my cravings for new ideas of lists and new ways to jazz up the personal pages of my life in a journal. it is more than a companion, it is my life. THANKX for being here to inspire me on.
