How do I honor this gift of a new day? A morning verse

Morning time,
a new day so fresh-
How do I honor this gift of another 24 hours of life?

May I be gentle and kind,
see with the eyes and feel with a heart of only love.

If I lapse into judgment or anger today may I quickly get back on course.

I do not take this day for granted. I will cherish little things and do my best.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
