To live a well balanced, rewarding life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night.
Each time I focus on something I create a new beginning.
What ideas or projects do you want to focus on this day?
Perhaps you just want to do nothing.
Play and celebration may be the agenda for the day.
Here are a few coffee time journal prompts to use as you are first waking up this morning:
1. If I could do just one thing today and I would consider it to be a successful day, what would it be?
2. What could I ignore or stop doing and I know the world would keep spinning on its axis if I stopped doing it?
3. Is there anything playful I can set out to do, perhaps something I haven’t done in a while or an acitivity all together new for me?
4. Whose company would I like to be in today?
5. What am I creating with this day?
In Peace,
Debra
Debra,
As always, I am delighted with this journalng post. What great questions to ask at the start of the day, each one having a significance of its own. I especially like the one on a playful activity, since those kind often get put to the wayside for more ‘responsible’ ones. Artist dates and dabbling in art mediums are awesome ways to get playful. They often invigorate and freshen our perspective.
I have chosen your post, When I focus, I create something new, for the #JournalChat Pick of the Day on 7/7/11 for all things journalng on Twitter. I will post a link on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, my blog Refresh with Dawn Herring and my new Refresh Journal which you can sign up for here: http://refreshwithdawnherring.blogspot.com/.
You’re welcome to join us for the #JournalChat Live on Thursdays at 4 p.m. CST/2 PST for all things journaling through my @JournalChat account on Twitter.
Thanks again, Debra, for your terrific post on creating something new. It was refreshing!
Be refreshed,
Dawn Herring
