Soft sleep gently coming to take me into calm dreamy space.
I welcome the rest, the peace that comes
when all is still
all is quiet
and well,
just as it should be.
A safe cocoon I’m in
safe and secure
warm and cozy
and loved.
There are no worries
or concerns.
No tasks or trouble
of any kind.
Only sleep. Drifting floating peace.
Quiet being.

Hi Debbie. I didn’t quite realize you were a school teacher. I used to be a public school music teacher, but now I’m teaching privately. I love this blog. I taught Musikgarten classes in my studio until my health forced me to give it up. I loved teaching mommies how to use lullabies to sing their babies to sleep. It’s not a tradition that’s taught anymore. I love your site! I fight with insomnia a lot, and I hope I can find useful hints here.
All the best,
Leslie
Thank you so much, Leslie. That means a lot to me. I am glad you have found my site here valuable.
When my children were very small I took them to “mommy and me” toddler music classes. They were wonderful and kind of “dreamy”. I remember one teacher had us pull our toddlers on a blanket on a slick dance floor. They were the “boats” and we moved to this beautiful song from Riverdance. I will never forget it.
I wish you blessed days and restful nights!
Take care,
Debra
