Last words before turning out the light: Good Night (A bedtime prayer)

Sleep is close at hand.

The business of the day is behind me.

I am fatigued but thankful

for the day.

I have been blessed with:

enduring energy and

lively interactions with students and family.

I have been loved and supported.

I have inspired and loved.

Now may the tide of this evening wash over me.

May I feel its calm and peace.

May I fade into stillness.

Thank you.

Good night.
