“As long as you are trying to be something other than what you actually are, your mind wears itself out”
~J. Krishnamurti
This morning as you are having your quiet wake up time, take a few deep breaths in and out. Sit and be still. Our hearts have an intelligence of their own if we are wise enough to listen.
Here are some questions for your journals or some things to think about today:
- Describe an ideal day for yourself.
- When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
- How do you feel when you walk into your work place?
- How do you feel when you walk into your house or apartment?
- What relationships mean the most to you?
- Make a list of things that you frequently find yourself wanting to do “someday” when you have the time, money, etc.
- Describe situations when you feel the most at peace and secure with yourself.
- Describe situations when your heart tightens and you feel tense.
- Imagine an ideal place to visit to meditate. It could be a sitting on a hilltop, being in the desert, the beach, wherever.Spend some time in that place and see what happens.
- If you could be anybody for a day, who would it be? What would your day be like?
Have a blessed day,
