To live a well balanced, rewarding life of our dreams by day and sleep restfully at night.
When you are in your quiet, getting ready for bed space, get out your journal, place it on your lap, close your eyes and just breathe for a few minutes…..
Then open your eyes, open your journal, and write about all of the good you saw, heard, smelled, tasted, and experienced today.
If you think you had a terrible day and there isn’t anything possibly good that you can write down, think again…are you alive and breathing? Did you eat?
We can always think of something to feel thankful for.
Go to sleep being mindful of all of your blessings and abundance in your life.

Lovely idea, Debra; there is always something I’m grateful for in my day. I just started a gratitude journal, as suggested by Debbie Macomber, who wrote: One Simple Act. I’ve also been reading Eckhardt Tolle’s A New Earth and he talks about simply breathing and being aware of your breathing to develop “inner body awareness.” It’s relaxing and helps me focus on just “being.”
Thanks, Camille. I do find that if I am getting intp a negative state, gratitude pulls me out of it pretty quickly. It’s funny you mentioned Eckhart Tolle’s book. I just picked it up yesterday to review some things ( I have read it once already a couple of years ago..)
I wish you an absolutely splendid day!
