Do not worry if our harp breaks

thousands more will appear.

We have fallen in the arms of love where all is music.

If all the harps in the world were burned down,

still inside the heart

there will be hidden music playing.

Do not worry if all the candles in the world flicker and die

we have the spark that starts the fire.

The songs we sing

are like foam on the surface of the sea of being

while the precious gems lie deep beneath.

But the tenderness in our songs

is a reflection of what is hidden in the depths.

Stop the flow of your words,

Love is a verb

As you prepare for sleep tonight enjoy these verses and perhaps meditate on :

1. How much God loves you. You are safe and loved. You can meditate and say the mantra “God loves me” as you drift off to sleep.
2. You are blessed with many loving and supportive people in your life.
3. This is a loving and supportive universe.
4. Think of how much you have touched the lives of others today (perhaps without your even knowing) with your love simply by being the loving person that you are.
5. Envision your new day tomorrow being filled with loving eyes and smiles reflecting back at your loving eyes and smile.
6. Set an intention to greet every person you meet today or tomorrow with eye contact, a smile, and a silent loving thought such as “the light of God in me salutes the light of God in you” (this simple prayer suggested by Marianne Wiliamson in Illuminata p.126) This works well in a crowd as well and thinking this prayer as you gaze at all of the faces in the crowd.
